Hey there…

Misunderstanding and prejudice can mean getting the info and support you need around sex and porn can be tricky for some people, this can be true for our LGBTQI+ communities.  We have teamed up with some amazing services who work with queer, gender diverse, takatāpui & intersex youth, their friends, whānau and wider communities, who can support you, talk confidently with you and understand your experience. It’s important to not to do this alone – check them out here:

OUTLINE NZ

Confidential LGBTIQA+/Rainbow phone peer support and counselling by specialists in sexuality and gender issues. Face to face counselling is available in Auckland or via Skype in other regions.

Be There

Be There is a website and awareness campaign that aims to support the parents and whānau of trans, non-binary, takatāpui, queer, intersex, and rainbow young people to be more inclusive, affirming and safe. Connect with community, and find support for yourself or your rainbow loved one.

I’m Local

The I’m Local Project aims to help queer & gender diverse youth all over Aotearoa to feel valued, recognised and supported in their local communities.

Rainbow Youth

Support, information and advocacy for young queer, gender diverse and intersex young people. They have drop-in centres, counselling services and an anonymous online chat service 2-4pm weekdays.
