Misunderstanding and prejudice can mean getting the info and support you need around sex and porn can be tricky for some people, this can be true for our LGBTQI+ communities. We have teamed up with some amazing services who work with queer, gender diverse, takatāpui & intersex youth, their friends, whānau and wider communities, who can support you, talk confidently with you and understand your experience. It’s important to not to do this alone – check them out here:
Be There is a website and awareness campaign that aims to support the parents and whānau of trans, non-binary, takatāpui, queer, intersex, and rainbow young people to be more inclusive, affirming and safe. Connect with community, and find support for yourself or your rainbow loved one.
Check out the health navigator gender diversity page which has heaps of other resources on support and help for gender diverse young people and their family/whānau.
